1. Who we are & what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Al Qaul Sadeed (package identifier com.app.alqaulsadeed) and its informational website. The app’s listed developer/contact is Naveed Masoodi. For privacy questions, contact naveedmasoodi@gmail.com.

The app is designed to provide access to pages from a Tajweed reference book. This policy explains the information involved in delivering those pages and the options available to users.

2. Information used by the app

Based on the app build reviewed when this policy was prepared, reading the book does not require an account, registration, or submission of your name, phone number, or email address.

• On-device reading data: Favorites, reading position, and similar settings may be saved on your device so the app can restore reading preferences. This information is not described here as data sent to a developer account.
• Basic network information: When the app requests online content, the service receiving the request may receive your IP address, request time, and standard technical request information to deliver pages and operate its service.
• Permissions: The reviewed Android bundle uses internet connectivity; no camera, contacts, or precise-location permission was identified in that build.

We do not claim that third-party hosting services collect no information, and the information above should be updated if later app versions introduce additional services.

3. Online book pages & service providers

Some book images load from Cloudinary, a third-party image delivery service, through HTTPS links. The content host may process network-related information, including IP address and technical logs, for image delivery, security, performance, and reliability. Handling of such requests is subject to the service provider’s own policies.

Cloudinary privacy information: cloudinary.com/privacy. The app may also use standard Android/system functions to open external links or share content, in which case the selected browser or sharing app follows its own privacy practices.

4. Website privacy

This website is a static informational website. It does not include user registration, comment forms, advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies in the files supplied with this release. Images and scripts used on the website are hosted within the same site. Following an external Google Play or email link is optional.

Your hosting provider may maintain ordinary web-server access logs, including IP address and request metadata, under its own hosting and retention settings. If you email the developer, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your inquiry.

5. Security, storage & retention

Book images are requested using HTTPS URLs. On-device app data may be stored using ordinary Android app storage and may be removed by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling it, subject to your device’s settings and backup behavior.

We do not operate a user-account database for the reading features described above. Any information you voluntarily provide through support email is kept only as reasonably needed to address your inquiry and related support records. Third-party image and hosting providers apply their own security and retention practices.

6. Children’s privacy

The content is educational and may be encountered by learners of different ages. The app is not designed to request a child’s name, address, or contact information. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users’ internet and device use as appropriate. If you believe personal information relating to a child has been provided to the developer, please email the contact below.

7. Your choices & requests

• You can stop the app from loading new online pages by disabling its internet access or disconnecting from the internet; remote pages may then fail to load.
• You can remove locally stored app settings and favorites using Android’s Clear storage option or by uninstalling the app, subject to device backup settings.
• You can contact us to ask about information you sent by email, request correction or deletion of developer-held support correspondence, or raise a privacy concern.

For data processed independently by Cloudinary or your hosting/device provider, their respective policies and request channels may also apply.

8. Changes to this policy & contact

If the app or its processing practices change, this policy may be updated. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
